Spring!
Hopelessly behind
Hopelessly. Mostly because I now have a son, and he's keeping me busy, but even that leaves several months of unexplainable neglect. Here are some of the better photos I've taken since my last post.
Sigma 85mm
It's been fun to have a new lens to play with, and the Sigma 85mm 1.4 Art is so amazingly good!
Overcast
A few dramatic days, and some grey skies, and a bit of hail at Bondi Beach too!
Too hot
Nevertheless, I went for a walk though Sydney's China Town, and then through the Chinese Garden of Friendship. All taken with the Sigma 85mm.
Beach and rainforest
Sydney really is having a hot summer... The beaches are full and the rainforests are dry. All but two of these photos were taken with the new Sigma 85mm 1.4 DG HSM Art.
Centennial Park
A few macro shots.
Too hot
Really, 38 is too hot for doing anything much. So I went for a long walk :)
It might have been too hot for walking (I had to keep stopping to eat icecream), but Bondi, Tamarama and Coogee all looked a picture!
Summer
It's been too hot in Sydney lately, though that is also a great reason to go swimming every day.
New Year
My aim for 2017 is to be a better blogger :) Starting with some pictures of New Year's Eve and Morning.
Kestrels
I'm a bit obsessed with them at the moment.
#gromsearch
The young surfers were out at Maroubra Beach this weekend.
England
I always love being in England. Here are some photos from London, Somerset, North Yorkshire, and Country Durham.
Norway
Norway is beautiful.
Singapore
I've been travelling: Singapore, Norway, Italy, UK. Here are some of my favourite photos from Singapore.
Sunset
We have had some spectacular skies of late.
Bondi
Cold, rainy and then very clear, and then cloudy again. Sydney's winter.
Centennial Park
It's one of the places in Sydney that's not too far from where I live, and which is always worth visiting, because there is always something happening, small or large. In this case just some great light.
Newborn
Something beguiling about a newborn baby.
